On the 18th June 2022 Kylie lost her 18 month battle with brain cancer. This was the most devastating loss myself and my family have ever endured. Kylie was just 45 years old. She was a devoted wife and mother to two children, loving daughter, adored sister and aunt and a friend too so many. Her battle was nothing short of courageous.
Kylie was an amazing woman who would light up the room just by being in it. Her infectious smile and bubbly personality made her stand out from the crowd. She was selfless and caring and would do anything to help others in their time of need but expect nothing in return.
In honour of Kylie we wanted to do something to help others and this fundraiser will help us achieve that. By supporting the MHF, not only do we honour Kylie's memory but we also contribute to the ongoing efforts to help find a cure for brain cancer and assist patients and their families in their time of need.
Kylie you are loved and missed and will always be remembered. xx
About the Cause
Mark Hughes Foundation
The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark’s diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. The Mark Hughes Foundation’s mission is to raise much needed funds for research, to create awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families.
