Remembering John Hawkins
Story
Our beautiful John sadly passed away after a short battle with a Glioblastoma brain tumour on 23 October 2024. He lived an extraordinary life filled with love, laughter and adventure. John was a devoted son, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. His battle was nothing short of courageous, and in the very special unique way he had, he tried to make it better for all those around him. In John's honour, we would like to do something to help others by supporting the Mark Hughes Foundation - by doing this we not only honour John's memory but we also contribute to the ongoing efforts to help find a cure for brain cancer and assist patients and their families in their time of need.
John - we love and miss you so very much. Always remembered and in our hearts.
Mark Hughes Foundation
The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark’s diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. The Mark Hughes Foundation’s mission is to raise much needed funds for research, to create awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families.
