Remembering Anthony (Tony) Podesta
Story
Tony was a much loved husband, father, brother, uncle and tennis coach. His tennis school (Tony Tennis) taught over 6000 people for more than three decades in Western Sydney. He touched the lives of every person he met with his infectious positivity, smile and love of life.
For the last three years Tony fought a brave battle with brain cancer, passing away on the 27 July 2022. Throughout his battle, Tony championed the Mark Hughes Foundation and the research and work that they were/are undertaking. Tony called for donations to the MHF so that others could benefit from the foundations work.
Tony's funeral is at St Monica's Catholic Church, Richmond on Wednesday 3 August 2022. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MHF.

Mark Hughes Foundation
The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark’s diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. The Mark Hughes Foundation’s mission is to raise much needed funds for research, to create awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families.
