Remembering Adam Francis Fineran
Remembering Adam Francis Fineran
Story
My husband Adam was a loyal, funny, gentle man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved his children and I fiercely and always made sure we knew it. When Adam was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2020, he vowed to fight it with everything he had - all he wanted was to be there for me and our 3 children for as long as he possibly could. Adam handled his diagnosis and treatments with such dignity and grace right up until the end. Brain cancer may have taken his body, but it would never take his fighting spirit or his love for his family.
Sadly, Adam lost his battle in the early hours of 5th August 2023, passing away in my arms.
Adam loved footy, in particular his beloved St George Illawarra Dragons. It was this love of footy that exposed him to the Mark Hughes Foundation and he bought a beanie for himself and our son every year.
Adam was only 40 years old, he deserved a long life where he could watch his children grow up and he fought so hard for it.
In lieu of flowers etc, please consider donating to the Mark Hughes Foundation in Adam's honour
